SICK POLICY







Please help keep our infants, children and mothers safe by following these simple health guidelines. If you or your child has one or more of the symptoms listed below, please be considerate and stay home.
· Is acting sick
· Have a common cold with thick, yellow or green nasal secretions
· Has had diarrhea within the last 48 hours
· Has vomited within the last 48 hours
· Has a fever of 100.4 or higher
· Has pinkeye or other contagious eye infections
· Has sore throat
· Has cough and fever
· Exhibit any symptoms of childhood communicable diseases such as, lice, 5th disease or hand, foot and mouth disease, chicken pox, etc.
· Has croup
· Has poison ivy or any undiagnosed rash or skin infection
· Has been on antibiotics for less than 48 hours
If clear runny nose, then use your judgment as to whether it?s sickness or allergies/teething. (Likely if it's after sickness, it's still contagious.)

If you decide to bring child with clear runny nose, please be diligent about wiping child's nose.

If you or your child gets sick soon after playgroup, please send an email to the group organizer, who will in turn email the rest of the members who atteded the days meetup, so they understand that their child might have been exposed to the illness.

If you are not coming to playgroup due to sickness, please email the group organizer.
